Assistant Professor, Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences The Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences (NFS) at The University of Vermont invites applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Food Science. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) 9-month, tenure-track position and involves undergraduate/graduate teaching and advising, and research related to but not limited to food chemistry, sensory evaluation and food quality, or food engineering/food technology. The effective date of the position is 09/01/2025. The candidate must have an earned doctoral degree (e.g., Ph.D., Sc.D.) in a relevant field such as food chemistry, food science, sensory evaluation and food quality, or food engineering.
