APHA Press is looking for a food-related scientist with strong managerial and editing skills to oversee APHA’s flagship product (digital, print): Standard Methods for the Examination of Dairy Products. The SMEDP Managing Editor (consultant) will work with a team of editors and authors to develop, review, and deliver content (digital, print). The candidate should have a master’s degree or higher in a food-related science (e.g., microbiology, chemistry). Managing Editor duties and responsibilities: Manage a team of lead editor(s), authors, and a technical committee Work with lead editor(s) to review and finalize chapters for publication (digital, print). Vet the quality of authors' work during the review process.
